IIT Palakkad, though one of the newer IITs, offers some cool opportunities! They've got a collaboration with Auckland University for a semester abroad, which is awesome if you want international exposure. Plus, they're tied in with UST Global, giving students a chance to dive into cutting-edge tech in R&D.

Academics and Faculty

The teachers are super qualified and really supportive. They encourage research and even involve students in government-funded projects. You'll get chances for internships, and they organize industrial visits to give you practical experience. There are also seminars, workshops, and clubs to help you build your skills.

Facilities

Right now, the main campus is still being built, so you'll be in a transit campus. But don't worry, the hostel rooms are spacious and have 24/7 Wi-Fi. They also have medical and sports facilities. If your family's annual income is below 4.5 LPA, you can apply for a merit-cum-means scholarship.

Placements

Most of the recruitments are from the IT sector (44%), followed by Core Engineering (21%) and Banking & Finance (18%). Last year, 64 companies made 70+ offers. Top recruiters include Arista Networks, L&T, and TCS. The highest salary package was 16 LPA, and the average is around 8-9 LPA. Around 90% of CSE students got placed, and the average placement rate for other branches was between 60-85%.
