Which B-school is better for finance: New IIMs (Ranchi, Raipur, etc.), MDI Gurgaon, IIFT Kolkata, or IIT Bombay (SJMSOM)?

If you're aiming for finance, IIFT Kolkata or MDI Gurgaon would be good choices. MDI Gurgaon's 2022 placements show that BFSI and E-Commerce sectors took in 22% and 13% of students, respectively. In 2021, 55 MDI students landed in finance with the highest CTC around INR 21-23 LPA.

IIFT Kolkata is also worth considering. It offers similar finance opportunities as IIFT Delhi. In the 2021 summer placements, BFSI was the top recruiting sector.
