PES University in Bangalore is pretty well-known. It's got a good rep, especially for engineering, where it was ranked 93rd by NIRF in 2020. 'The Week' also put it at 65th among top colleges in India. They offer a bunch of courses at the UG, PG, and Ph.D. levels.

Admission Stuff:

You usually get in through the PESSAT or CET exam. They look at your scores to decide.
They also consider CAT, GRE, GMAT, and CMAT scores.
For B.Tech, you need at least 60% in 12th grade with science subjects. They have around 1320 seats. For M.Tech, you need 50% in your engineering degree.

Faculty:

They've got lots of experienced professors, assistant professors, and department heads.
Many of them are from IITs and NITs.

Fees:

In 2019, they made 851 job offers, and Microsoft picked 11 students.
The highest salary package was ₹48 LPA, and the average was ₹6.8 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, and Flipkart recruit from here.

They also give scholarships to students who need financial help. Plus, they focus on research, so you can pick a course based on what you like.
