How good is the ITE (Information Technology Engineering) department at Acharya Institute of Technology?

Well, from what I've gathered from my friends, Acharya Institute of Technology is decent. It might be a good backup option for you.

If you decide to join Acharya, the CS, IT, EEE, and Mechatronics departments are generally considered better. My friend who studied ITE mentioned that the lecturers weren't as knowledgeable as those in CS and IS. However, the other departments like Mechanical, E&E, BT, and Mechatronics are pretty good. Plus, the fees and hostel facilities are quite appealing compared to other colleges.
