How good are the placements for a B.Tech in safety and fire engineering at CUSAT?

From what I've heard from friends at CUSAT, the placements for the Fire and Safety Engineering department are pretty decent if you're serious about your studies. If you put in the effort and avoid backlogs, you'll have good opportunities during placements. However, the faculty won't be as helpful if you're not academically strong.

If you're dedicated, you can expect packages similar to those offered at IITs and NITs. Here’s a quick look at the recent placement stats:

Highest CTC: 14 lakhs
Major Recruiters: BPCL, IOCL, JSW, etc.

Also, CUSAT has NBA Tier-1 accreditation, which is a big deal. Besides IITs and NITs, not many colleges have this. So, CUSAT is definitely a good choice for a B.Tech in Fire and Safety Engineering.
