Well, most students prepping for the Common Admission Test (CAT) usually aim for IIM Ahmedabad first. If you're into consulting, IIM Bangalore might be a better bet because they often have better job offers in that field. IIM Calcutta is like the finance hub of India, with lots of finance job opportunities and fancy accreditations.

IIM Lucknow is pretty famous for marketing. A good chunk of their students, like around 32% in 2022, landed internships in sales and marketing. But, they're also getting better with consulting roles too. The highest salary from the consulting sector this year was about INR 45 LPA.
