NIT Jalandhar is generally considered a decent option. Placement stats can change each year based on the batch and the efforts of the placement team. For example, last year, Textile Technology saw around 94% placement, with an average CTC of about 5.3 lakhs.

Students from Manufacturing and Textile have been recruited by companies like ZS Associates, L&T Infotech, and Reliance. Some also get placed in marketing roles dealing with international yarn and fabric marketing.

If you're considering a master’s, it’s best to follow your interests. But if you're not particularly drawn to any field and are only considering Textile Technology, NIT Jalandhar could be a better choice than a private college.
