IIM Calcutta offers decent hostel facilities for its PGP students. There are four hostels, with two being co-ed and two exclusively for boys.

While the hostels aren't super modern (the newest, Lake View Hostel, was built in 2008), they're pretty adequate for an institution with a long history. You'll find the facilities and power backup to be fairly similar across all hostels. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfy, and a big plus is that each room has its own balcony.
