How are the hostel facilities at NIT Calicut? Are single rooms available for M.Tech students?

NIT Calicut provides decent hostel facilities. Generally, rooms are shared between two or three students. You'll get basic stuff like a bed, cupboard, and table. The rooms have good lighting and air. Bathrooms are shared but cleaned regularly. The mess food is pretty good with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

Unfortunately, single rooms aren't available for M.Tech students at NIT Calicut.
