Well, the hostel fees at CUSAT are quite affordable, around INR 300 per month. However, the living conditions aren't as fancy as what you might find in NITs or IITs. The washrooms and other facilities are just okay, but considering the price, it's a fair deal.

One thing to note is that the hostels don't have Wi-Fi, so you'll need to rely on local internet service providers. Also, getting a hostel room in your first year isn't guaranteed. Many students only get rooms in their 3rd or 4th year.
