So, you want to know about the MICA interview experience, right? After you clear exams like CAT, GMAT, and MICAT (which is MICA's own entrance exam), you'll get shortlisted for GE/PI based on your combined scores. Honestly, everyone's interview experience is different. The panelists will throw some tough questions your way to see how you think on your feet. But don't freak out, just stay calm and be logical.

Let me tell you about a friend's interview experience:

Venue: Indian Social Institute, New Delhi

Slot: Morning

First, you'll register for GEPI at the venue, which usually wraps up by 9:15 AM. Then, you'll be assigned a panel number. They'll split you into groups of 7-8 people and take you for the GE.
Next, two panel members will welcome you and give you aprons with your candidate number on them.
You'll get a group exercise to do together. My friend's group had to 'prepare a skit where you're playing yourself, and Candidate 3 is chosen for admission to MICA. You have to justify why they should be selected.'
You'll get about 7-8 minutes to plan your group exercise. My friend's group decided to make Candidate 3 shine during their mock interview, while the rest of them would downplay their strengths to make Candidate 3 look better.
After the group exercise, you'll wait in a common area and then head in for the personal interview with three new panel members.
The panel members will greet you and ask you to sit down. They might chat about the group project and your role in it.
They might ask about your academic background and why you picked MICA over IIMs. Be ready for questions about social media marketing and digital marketing too!

Just remember, even if the panelists try to pressure you, hold your ground and stay cool. If you can communicate well and understand marketing, you've got a good shot at getting in!
