The Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College is located in the bustling city of Hyderabad, capital of Telangana state. This college was established in the year 1973, when Hyderabad used to be part of the undivided Andhra Pradesh (AP). The college campus is an urban one, spread over three acres of land. The Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College is affiliated to the Osmania University, also located in Hyderabad. This affiliation ensures the approval of the UGC (University Grants Commission). The college of course is named after the architect of India’s constitution. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar has been known as one of the foremost lawmakers in world history. The Hyderabad- based Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College offers courses at both the UG as well as the PG levels. At the undergrad level, one is the BA course. Another is the BSc. This can be taken up with two subject combinations. One of them is the combo between Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, for the typical PCM. Another is an alternative PCM, where the C stands for Computers, though the rest remains the same. For the commerce students, at the undergrad level, there is the B. Com. This can be undertaken either on its own, or in combo with the Computers.
