If you're proactive and have a good academic record, landing a good internship shouldn't be too difficult. The college also supports off-campus internship efforts.

The B.Tech Computer Science program at SVNIT is pretty solid. The curriculum is updated, and you get a good mix of theory and practical application. Labs are well-equipped, and the faculty is always pushing you to think outside the box. Definitely a good choice if you're serious about coding!

The fee structure for B.Tech programs is reasonable compared to other top NITs. Expect to pay around ₹1.5-2 lakhs per year, including tuition and other charges. Hostel fees are separate, but overall, it's a decent investment considering the quality of education and placement opportunities.

The faculty at SVNIT is generally very supportive and knowledgeable. Most professors are approachable and willing to help you out, especially if you show genuine interest. While some departments might have a few exceptions, overall, the teaching quality is commendable. ECE department needs some improvement as per seniors.

SVNIT's campus is huge, like 250 acres! It's got everything you need – well-maintained buildings, sports facilities, and green spaces to chill. The campus is located in a posh area of Surat, so you're close to all the action. Exploring the entire campus when you first join is a must!
