College Internship Opportunities :
While the college does provide some internship opportunities, they aren't as extensive as I'd hoped. Most companies that visit are service-based, and the internships are primarily focused on those roles. It would be great to see more diverse internship options in the future.
Course Information :
I'm currently pursuing B.Tech CSE here, and the course curriculum is pretty solid. They start placement training from the first semester itself, which is a huge plus. By the time you reach your third and fourth year, you're introduced to all the latest technologies. It's a good mix of theory and practical application.
Fee Structure :
For KCET students, the fee is between 80k to 1 lakh per year, with 63k being the KEA board fee and 35k for the college. However, if you're going through the payment quota, it can go up to around 2.5 lakhs per year. So, it's definitely something to consider based on how you're getting in.
Faculty :
The faculty in the CSE department are really good and most of them are PhD holders. They're dedicated to teaching and are always ready to help. From my experience, they make the concepts easy to understand and are approachable if you have any doubts. It's a supportive environment.
Campus Details :
The infrastructure is decent with good labs and classrooms equipped with smart boards. Wi-Fi access is mainly available in the libraries. Sports facilities are available, so you can stay back and practice. The campus canteens offer tasty food, though it can get crowded during peak hours. Overall, it's a pretty standard campus experience.
