College Internship Opportunities :
While the college tries to provide internship opportunities, it can be challenging to secure good internships, especially in core branches. Networking and personal efforts are crucial to land a decent internship. The college could definitely improve its industry connections to provide better internship opportunities for students.
Course Information :
I'm in the Chemical Engineering program. Some teachers are excellent, but others are just okay, mainly due to less experience. The curriculum is more focused on research than industry needs, which might make it harder to find jobs in the industrial sector after graduation. Overall, it's a decent course but could use some industry-oriented improvements.
Fee Structure :
The fee structure here depends on your family income. If your family earns less than ₹1 lakh per year, the tuition fee is waived, and you only pay around ₹19,000 per semester. For families earning between ₹1 to ₹5 lakhs, it's about ₹33,000 per semester. If your family income is above ₹5 lakhs, the fee is ₹69,000 per semester. Hostel fees, around ₹25,000 per semester, are the same for everyone.
Faculty :
Some teachers are really good and supportive, but others are average, which can be a bit of a letdown. It feels like some faculty members lack practical experience. However, the teachers who are good are truly dedicated and make the learning experience worthwhile. More experienced faculty would definitely improve the overall academic environment.
Campus Details :
The campus is a bit far from the main city, so there aren't many markets nearby. But the campus environment is lively and competitive, thanks to all the student activities. It's a great place to refine your skills and knowledge. The campus management is responsive and handles emergencies well, which is reassuring.
