College Internship Opportunities :
The college provides decent internship opportunities. The T&P cell works hard to get companies to recruit from our campus. They also groom us to perform well in interviews. Getting an internship here is definitely possible with a bit of effort.
Course Information :
I'm enrolled in the B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering program here. The course curriculum is pretty solid, keeping up with industry standards. The faculty is experienced, and the workshops give us a taste of real-world applications. Overall, it's a good course if you're looking for a strong foundation.
Fee Structure :
The B.Tech program costs around ₹2.25 lakhs per year, including hostel and mess fees. There are fee waivers based on income, and the government offers several scholarships. While it might seem a bit steep considering the infrastructure, the NIT tag and placement opportunities make it worthwhile.
Faculty :
Most of the professors here have done their masters from IITs or universities abroad, so they know their stuff. They're pretty approachable and always ready to help. You can tell they're invested in making sure we understand the concepts well. It's a good learning environment.
Campus Details :
The campus is currently located in Narela, and it's a rented space at IAMR. It's not the best, but it gets the job done. The new campus in Bakoli, spanning 51 acres, is under construction, which is promising. There are courts for sports, but no cricket ground yet. Hopefully, the new campus will have better facilities.
