A Good Starting Point: My Experience at Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University

Likes

  • Good infrastructure and facilities
  • Supportive teachers and staff
  • Updated course curriculum
  • Spacious campus with sports complex

Dislikes

  • Low starting salary for physiotherapy grads
  • Inconsistent teaching quality at times
  • Swimming pool without water
  • Not the best location
  • Class Size :
  • Course Fees : INR per year

College Internship Opportunities :

While there aren't direct placements for physiotherapy students, the college does offer good opportunities for pharmacy and sports science students. For BPT, you'll mostly have to find internships on your own, but the OPD on campus provides good practical experience.

Course Information :

The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program is pretty decent here. It feels relevant with the way healthcare is going. The course structure is updated, which is a big plus. It gives a solid foundation, though you might need extra skills to be fully job-ready.

Fee Structure :

For the BPT course, the fees are around ₹50,000 per year. Honestly, the starting salary post-graduation can feel a bit low compared to what you invest. But if you're planning to build a private practice alongside, it definitely becomes a worthwhile investment.

Faculty :

The faculty is supportive, especially the HOD who is really focused. Sometimes, though, things can get a little inconsistent. Overall, the teachers are helpful and the staff is cooperative, which makes navigating college life easier.

Campus Details :

The campus is quite spacious with a good infrastructure. The sports complex, library, and OPD are well-structured. It's a bummer the swimming pool is empty, but otherwise, the campus has a lot to offer. The location isn't the best, but the college can handle emergencies well.
