College Internship Opportunities :
The college is putting in efforts to boost internship opportunities. They're pretty supportive when it comes to placements and internships. I've heard they're working on getting more companies to recruit from our college. So, fingers crossed for better opportunities in the coming years!
Course Information :
I'm currently pursuing B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering here. The course content is pretty solid, and they even throw in Japanese language classes in the first year, which is a cool addition. They give us the lowdown on the software we'll be using later on, so that's helpful. Overall, the course seems well-structured and relevant.
Fee Structure :
For Aerospace Engineering, the fees come to around ₹60,000 per year. Plus, there's this 'Career Development Fees' of ₹15,000 annually. They do offer scholarships based on your marks in intermediate, which is a relief. Hostel fees vary depending on whether you opt for AC or non-AC rooms.
Faculty :
The faculty here is quite supportive and experienced. Many of them have been teaching for over 25 years, which is reassuring. They seem genuinely invested in helping us learn. The syllabus is also concise, covering all the important topics without being too overwhelming. It's a good mix of experienced and approachable teachers.
Campus Details :
The campus is located in Tambaram, which is convenient since it's close to the railway station and about 18 km from Chennai Airport. There's a hospital inside the campus, which is handy. I heard there's a lake behind the campus, but honestly, the campus isn't the cleanest. Also, the first-year block doesn't have CCTV cameras, which is a bit concerning.
