College Internship Opportunities :
Placement opportunities are a bit limited. In my year, seniors didn't get many placements, but there are a few internship chances in the second and third year. The college is trying to improve this, so hopefully, things will get better. Keep an eye on the placement cell.
Course Information :
The BBA course at Asutosh College is pretty good. The curriculum is under Calcutta University and follows the CBCS system, which is standard. While it's a government college, the BBA department feels quite different with its own dedicated resources. Overall, a solid choice for a BBA degree.
Fee Structure :
For a government college, the BBA fees are a bit on the higher side, around ₹50,000 per year. It's comparable to some private colleges, but considering the facilities like air-conditioned rooms and a separate library, it feels worth it. Still, something to keep in mind.
Faculty :
Some teachers are really good and helpful, always ready to answer our queries. However, a few are very focused on the syllabus and don't delve much into practical knowledge. But overall, the faculty is approachable, and seniors are also supportive, which makes learning easier.
Campus Details :
The campus life is decent. Seniors are really helpful, and the teachers are easily reachable. While there aren't many management events specifically, we can participate in other fests. The BBA department has air-conditioned rooms and clean classes, plus a separate library, which is a big plus.
