College Internship Opportunities :
While the college actively promotes industry exposure, especially in the Mechanical and Production departments, the placement scene isn't the best. However, the college does provide some internship opportunities, especially if you're proactive and network well. Participating in events like BAJA and SUPRA can also boost your chances.
Course Information :
The Computer Engineering program at AISSMS IOIT is pretty decent. The curriculum is updated, and you get a good foundation in core subjects. Some of my seniors mentioned that the coding environment is supportive, and the faculty is approachable, which helps a lot when you're stuck with assignments.
Fee Structure :
From what I know, the fee structure for B.E. Computer Engineering is around ₹1.35 Lakh per year. It's pretty standard for a private engineering college in Pune. There might be additional costs for exams and other facilities, so it's best to check the official website for the exact details.
Faculty :
The faculty in the Mechanical department are okay, nothing extraordinary but they get the job done. Some teachers are really dedicated and helpful, especially when you're preparing for competitions like BAJA and SUPRA. Overall, they're fair compared to other colleges in Pune.
Campus Details :
The campus is centrally located, which is a huge plus. It's close to Pune station and the bus stop, making commuting super easy. The infrastructure is decent, with well-equipped labs for engineering requirements. Though, Wi-Fi connectivity could be better. Good hangout spots are just a short ride away in Koregaon Park and MG Road.
